Commitment to Quality
The spirit of innovation and a commitment to quality are both at the heart of Anheuser-Busch’s history. They continue to be the defining characteristics of our company and people. What was once a local St. Louis brewery is now a global icon of excellence, and while the size of our fermentation tanks has grown over the years, we still honor the age-old tradition of brewing our beer one batch at a time.
Although brewing methods and technology have changed since 1876, our signature 7-step process and the Brewmaster’s role have held true. We’ve also maintained old-world brewing techniques like “krausening” and Beechwood Aging for more than a century. Each batch of Budweiser is carefully observed over the course of the brewing process. In fact, our Brewmasters taste every batch at least five times during its life at the brewery!
The finest beers in the world use only the finest ingredients to brew. We continue to strengthen and cultivate our century-long relationship with American farmers to ensure Anheuser-Busch has access to the freshest ingredients in the industry.
