Tips to keep in mind when scheduling your tour:

  • The Tour Center is located at the corner of 12th and Lynch St.
  • On the complimentary brewery tour, you will see our historic property, walking from building to building. The tour does have parts that are outdoors and consists of about seven blocks of down-hill walking .
  • The Clydesdales can be seen on tour, at the Historic Clydesdale Stables.
  • On busy days (weekends, holidays, and summer months), you can stop by in the morning and get tickets for tours later that same day to help reduce your wait time.
  • If you are visiting with a group of 15 or more, please call in advance and make a group reservation. This will ensure a place on a tour and reduce your overall wait. Call 314-577-2626 to make a group reservation.
  • The tour is complimentary, and so is parking; additional free parking can be found in "O" Lot across the street.
  • Keep in mind the tour and sampling will last about one hour and forty-five minutes.
  • Your safety is very important to us.  Please refrain from wearing any type of soft sole sandals, especially Crocs.
  • Cameras are always welcome, so make sure you take plenty of pictures.
  • Strollers are allowed on most parts of the tour; however, there are a few areas where strollers may need to remain outside. The tour associate will inform you of these areas and have the stroller waiting for you when you exit that particular stop on tour.
  • We prefer that you keep large bags in your car, as they are subject to search and may need to be placed in a locker while you tour the brewery.
  • There are no food services within the Tour Center, but there are many well known restaurants in the area. Be sure to stop by the front desk, and they can provide some good recommendations.
  • Our gift shop accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, personal checks, and travelers checks.
  • For any guest who is hearing impaired, or does not speak English, we have printed scripts at the front desk. The entire tour is wheelchair accessible, but wheelchairs are not provided.

A full grown Clydesdale can weigh up to 2,000 pounds. They eat a combination of 25 quarts of mixed feed, 50-60 pounds of Timothy hay and up to 30 gallons of water every day!!
